Installation

Unpack and remove all transit bolts and packaging. Place on a solid, level floor.

  1. Position the machine: Ensure adequate space for ventilation and door opening.
  2. Adjust feet: Use a spanner to level the machine; check with spirit level.
  3. Connect water supply: Attach inlet hoses to cold water tap (and hot if applicable) using supplied connectors. Ensure washers are fitted.
  4. Connect drain hose: Place hose into standpipe (min height 60cm, max 100cm) or secure over sink edge using hook.
  5. Plug into a grounded 220-240V, 50Hz power outlet.

WARNING! Do not remove transit bolts before moving to final location. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, run a cotton cycle at 90°C without laundry to clean the drum.

  1. Remove transit bolts: Use spanner to remove bolts from rear; keep for future moves. Fit covers into holes.
  2. Level the machine: Adjust feet until machine is stable and does not rock.
  3. Connect hoses: Ensure water inlet hoses and drain hose are properly connected.
  4. Power on: Plug in and turn on the water tap.
  5. Run initial cycle: Select Cotton 90°C program and start without laundry.

CAUTION! Ensure transit bolts are removed. Failure to do so will cause severe damage.

  3. Secure drain hose at correct height (60-100cm) to prevent siphoning.
  4. Check for leaks after first connection by turning on taps briefly.

Tip: Leave a small gap between machine back and wall to avoid hose kinks.

Using Washing Programs

Select program based on fabric type and soil level.

  1. Load laundry: Open door, load items loosely without overloading.
  2. Add detergent: Pour into dispenser drawer (main wash, pre-wash, softener compartments as needed).
  3. Select program: Turn dial to desired program (e.g., Cotton, Synthetic).
  4. Adjust settings: Use buttons to modify temperature, spin speed, and options like Extra Rinse.
  5. Start: Press Start/Pause. The door locks and cycle begins.
  6. At end: "End" appears on display. Door remains locked for a few minutes. Unlock and remove laundry.
  7. Delay start: Press Delay button to set start time (1-24h), then press Start.

WARNING! Do not open door during cycle. Wait until "End" appears and door unlocks automatically.

Care & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures performance and longevity.

  1. Clean detergent drawer: Pull out, rinse under tap, and slide back.
  2. Clean drum: Run a hot cotton cycle monthly with a washing machine cleaner or 1/2 cup of bicarbonate of soda.
  3. Clean filter: Turn off machine and water tap. Open filter cover at front bottom, place towel, unscrew filter slowly to drain residual water, clean under tap, reinsert, and close.
  4. Wipe door seal: Remove debris and wipe with damp cloth.

CAUTION! Unplug machine before cleaning filter. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
