Installation

Unpack and remove all transit bolts and packaging. Place on a solid, level floor.

  1. Connect water supply: Attach inlet hoses to hot and/or cold taps (check washer requirements). Use new hoses; do not reuse old ones.
  2. Connect drain hose: Place into standpipe, sink, or drain as per instructions. Ensure no kinks.
  3. Level the machine: Adjust the feet using a spanner until the machine is stable and does not rock.
  4. Plug into a grounded 3-pin socket. Ensure power is off during connection.

WARNING! Remove all transit bolts before first use. Failure to do so will cause severe damage. Ensure water connections are tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

After installation, run a maintenance wash to clear any residual water.

  1. Power on the machine: Press the power button.
  2. Run initial empty wash: Select the "Drum Clean" or "Cotton 90°C" programme without laundry and with a small amount of detergent. This removes manufacturing residues.
  3. Set preferences: Use the control dial and option buttons to set default spin speed, temperature, etc.
  4. Familiarise with display: Note the icons for cycle progress, child lock, and delay start.

CAUTION! Do not load laundry during the first maintenance wash. Ensure the drain hose is correctly installed to prevent flooding.

Connecting Water & Drain

Correct plumbing is essential for safe operation.

  1. Water Inlet: Connect the blue hose to the cold water tap and the red hose (if present) to the hot. Use the supplied hose washers.
  2. Drain Hose: Secure the drain hose in a standpipe (height between 60cm and 100cm from floor) or over the edge of a sink using the U-bend holder.
  3. Check for Leaks: After connections, turn on taps and check both inlet hoses and the drain pump area for any drips before first use.

Tip: Leave a small gap between the wall and the machine for hose movement and ventilation.

Using Wash Programmes

Select a programme suitable for the fabric type and soil level.

  2. Add detergent: Pour powder/liquid into the appropriate dispenser drawer compartment (Main Wash, Pre-Wash, Softener).

Care & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures longevity and performance.

  1. Clean detergent drawer: Pull out, rinse under warm water, and dry before replacing.
  2. Clean door seal: Wipe the rubber gasket to remove lint and residue. Leave the door ajar after use to dry.
  3. Clean drain pump filter: Locate behind the kickplate. Place a towel, unscrew filter slowly to release residual water, clean, and refit.
  4. Run Drum Clean: Monthly, use a dedicated cleaner or a 90°C cotton cycle with no laundry.

CAUTION! Always disconnect from power and water before cleaning filters. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
